VISA:
The visa can be processed upon arrival if the trip has a maximum duration of thirty days.
A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months is required.
The fee is 35 euros.
HEALTH:
Pharmacies in the main cities of Madagascar stock all kinds of medicines, although it is advisable to bring them from your country of origin. It is important to bring mosquito repellent. It is advisable to take malaria prophylaxis.
LANGUAGE:
The official and most widely spoken language in Madagascar is Malagasy, although French is also used, especially in urban areas. If you wish, we will teach you some basic words and expressions. The local population will thank you and it will enhance your experience.
CURRENCY:
The official currency of Madagascar is the ariary. €1 is approximately equal to 4,800 ariary. There are exchange offices and banks where you can change money (including the International Airport Exchange Office on arrival). In the cities there are ATMs where you can withdraw money by card.
RELIGION
Traditional and modern religions coexist in Madagascar. The most popular are Catholicism, Protestantism, Seventh-day Adventism and Islam.
